Some complaints were that Tiana was a poor black girl but her best friend was rich and white (and the plan involved getting a handout from her), that Prince Naveen wasn't really black (or black enough or something), and that every black character that wasn't Tiana was lazy and wanting to party. I think mostly the racism criers were silenced by the people saying it wasn't, but it was still there. I think this movie/thread will wind up the same. This is honestly the first I've heard of complaints about this newest movie and it's kind of a stretch to be upset over. |
