| My heart is broken, Getou.. now we know why he hates protecting "the weak" so much. I never hate him to begin with, I know that he cares in his way, this is so heartbreaking to see, especially at the end, how he's trying, he really is 😭 and so is Gojo for holding back. They're like the opposite of themself in the future, seeing the two of them like this just breaks my heart. The animation is so smooth, mappa is really going out with it. |
| Yep as expected the hidden inventory arc ended at this episode which was fine even though some sequence over Toji against Suguru get changed but all the exposition is all good enough to make it 1:1 adaptation. Episode flies by fast and after the credit scene really took hits different, because as someone whose alteady read the source one year ago, i can say that i don't see them coming. The clap from the monkeys. Red, and blue. Separation. At the fucking opening. Damn. Cool. Idk if my lines above contain spoiler, even though i doubt its matter at all lmao. But yeah, all in all. The short Gojo past greatness arc was done. Time to get back to the real problem, shall we? |

| kinda explains why adult gojou nurtures megumi so much. toji's death was such a waste though. there isn't anything he couldn't have if he came to the light side. he was even a father. what went wrong? i hope we get some more backstory. also seems like gojou's not in his right mind. him and geto gonna fight i gues. |

But hey, manga fans always like to be pretentious dweebs who think they know more about a series is or isn't about than their actual creators, right? |
| Toji was such a badass until the end. I think the part that hit me was when he remembered his wife and Megumi. At least he told Gojo about Megumi before he died. Gojo, on the other hand, literally died and came back because he wanted revenge. I’m impressed at how quickly he recovered tho, I mean, he literally ascended to a higher level. Gojo is him. |

| Unhinged feral Gojo has crazy and energetic behavior, haha. When Gojo confidently declared, 'Throughout Heaven & Earth, I alone am the Honored One,' it gave me chills. He's truly one of the few who can actually back up his powerful words. His Hollow Purple technique was incredibly beautiful. It's sad to witness the gradual deterioration of the friendship between Gojo and Geto, who were once best friends. |
| Yeah... Touji is dead and I still fail to see what was so good about his character. His only purpose was to become fodder for Gojou to master his Purple technique and nothing more. Couldn't care less about his 30-second long retrospection moment either. Action-wise, it was still a good episode tho. Not to mention I really liked the cinematography as well as the direction during the post-credits scene. Looking forward to seeing Getou's descent next week. |
| This anime is actual just pure trash, really good animation poured together alongside a TRASHY garbage shounen, every scene there's like 2-3/10 characters in the entire show, all 0 fleshed out, the world feels like it's just there because the mangaka has no other choice. The powers are the most unimaginative garbage possible, cursed spirits and techniques called "red" "purple" etc... The OST is also garbage and utilized for no reason because there's 0 emotional connection to any character in the show. Literally why did MAPPA decide to pick this up and put in a lot of money into it? horrible anime might even downgrade it from 7/10 to 6/10 |
