| Lovely stuff. I enjoy the dynamic of the 3 main characters and Diana is cool as well. Anime-Harry Potter version, which is honestly pretty great for me since I love Harry Potter. |

| Well well. Diana's character is a huge change from what I remember in the movies. Iirc she herself boasted a lot as well in the movies and was very arrogant and condescending. She does still act high and mighty but isn't really as arrogant or condescending like she was in the movies. I always thought of her as a trademark bitch+ritch character but here she wasn't really boasting all that much herself and in fact seemed pretty down to earth. Her lackeys still made her look bad though. Even before her accepting that she wasn't the one who saved the day, she herself was a lot more humble, again when compared to her movies self. A good change imo. Is it just me or Akko is a lot worse in magic in the tv series than she was in the movies? Of course she was no great magician in movies either but at least she could do some stuff. Probably because the tv series is going to be longer I guess, so they can show her getting better over time. |

And Diane is here huh..X) She might be somewaht arrogant, but pretty good reason to be with her skills...but I remember seeing Certain someone in Magic Chariot show in episode 1 just row behind Akko! XD Diane might already be great...but Akko...Akko has Most potential compared to any student. |

We all knew it wasn't going to work, it took a lot of effort for me to not just close my eyes and not watch the embarrassing moment where she can't do it xD I'm loving the pacing for this, I'm extremely grateful that it's 25 eps, we can get a whole lot of character development, something I've wanted to see for Diana since the original LWA. She's by far one of my favorite characters for multiple reasons, including certain spoilers but regardless, I'm really hoping they flesh out her character more throughout the season. I love learning more about her and seeing her hidden sides, I'm really liking the slower and more leisurely pace the series has compared to the movies. Now that this is going to be a full 2 cour series, Diana was my favorite character from the movies, so, glad we got to learn why she acts all high and mighty, even though deep down she isn't all that bad. She probably puts up the facade because she has to live up to the name and reputation of her family which has been around for 1500 years. I would also like to see so I'm pretty excited for where they'll take this. Oh man that side of Diana....I so hope somekind of revelation on it will get to Akko somehow...would love friendly teasing towards Diana on that. XD |

| Also excellent this episode that uses, to be fun, excellent drawings and give us so really funny and nice facial expressions for the purpose they serve. The narration runs away which is a pleasure. |

| Diana is not really a bad girl afterall, I even think she can become her friend. The witch academia seems pretty fun even if lessons are boring for Akko lol It was a good episode, I can't wait to see how it will develop. |

| I've got to say, Sucy's dynamic in the series rounds out the character cast so much. She's so cool and interesting. I do hope Diana has the integrity to come forth about the reality of things eventually though. I was a bit surprised to see that she didn't take all the credit for the memorial tree up front, so kudos for that I guess. Akko's unwavering belief and confidence, although overblown and grounded in, for the most part, only ambition and passion is undoubtedly the driving force for the show. She's such a joy! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing everyone develop. Oh yeah, and Prof Ursula is ~too~ mysterious. |

| So far im loving the setting and the characters of this anime Akko is so bold and brave on what she believes maybe thats why the shiny rod choose her. On the side note i like when shes arguing while theres a plant on top of her head lmao Also Diana doesnt look down on people inferior to her rather she teach them how to be better.Like what she did to Akko. |

| It's a good episode, Diana is not a bad person, but her arrogance and ego of being someone who knows everything makes her quite a disgusting character, but she still seems like a good semi-antagonist. Also, she didn't say that it was actually Akko who did the spell. Good to know that Akko has Chariot's real wand. |

| Akko and Sucy continue to be really special in this show, as they both in ways kind of reminded me of my childhood in small ways. Seeing Akko get all giddy for collecting cards and keeping them in a dedicated holder and staring at them like they're solid gold, and seeing Sucy be a troll in class towards Akko also reminded me off stuff I was involved with a ton (both being the culprit in messing with others in class, and being the victim too when asleep during boring lessons). The two of them and Lotte already have a really organic bond with each other so early on. The actual episode too was really good, introducing more to Diana's character and also showing more of Akko's glimpses of potential with that Shiny Rod. I hate Diana's 'sidekicks' though and how they just act in general. Atleast Diana's had to go through tons of work to live up to the Cavendish lineage and we can sense some elements of her struggles to get to where she was now (and even then she isn't perfect as we could see when handling the whole incident with the tree). |
| To be honest, I'd love to go to a school like that. I'd certainly give more of an effort there than I did in regular school. Now that Diana has witnessed Akko using the Shiny Rod, she is now aware that Akko is somewhat special, but she won't ever tell Akko that. |

| I like the fact Diana isn't an asshole. She's a bit high and mighty but she doesn't press her privilege in other's faces or act like she's better than them. I especially like the fact she tried to tell the teachers that she wasn't the one to save the tree. While she's the Draco figure in that she's a rival. She isn't an unlikable character like Draco. |

| kind of strange to watch this like fleshed out alternate history version of these characters after loving the original specials but it's comfy looks good and feels good so whatever i like it |
