Like what the other guy said, you should start from the beginning. There was a lot of skipped material in the manga that you would probably enjoy.
But if you want to know where the latest episode is in the manga, I think around Chapter 55+. Not a lot but Episode 9 really did crammed and skipped lots of chapter.
Start from the beginning. That way you can understand better of the anime. The anime is SUPER rushed. You will notice that they just crammed 10 chapters+ in one episode. Doing one of the chapter chapter in only 1 minute of anime....
I also read the manga from the start and I can say that it wasn't a waste to do so since there are a lot of skipped scenes from the manga. They skipped the chapters of Kimishima (chapter 12) which should have been adapted after episode 2 If I remember that right.

They also skipped lots of characters. Like Sarushima's brother and Yamada's sister.
I feel like I'm just reiterating what everyone else has said but...
Definitely start from the beginning. If you've enjoyed the anime at all, you'll enjoy the manga substantially more. Even from the beginning, a decent amount of content was skipped or rushed such as character and relationship building. Later with the specific witch arcs with Otsuka, Sarushima, and especially Noa, those will be much better fleshed out in the manga and should make a lot more sense than the anime. Not to mention, a bunch of comedy moments are omitted from the anime too. Alas, the results of cramming what seems like will be 90 chapters into a single cour... :[
