| Sup. Hope you've enjoyed your break from the anime roulette, but it's back now. For those who are new, in the monthly Roulette everyone submits an anime, the 1st day of the month every anime submitted gets randomised, and you end up having to watch the anime you received. You have two months (preferably one) to watch your anime or you'll end up penalised like me, so be careful. I advise to read the rules if it's your first time participating, everything's there. And this is for everyone. Given the precedents I've decided that accounts with less than 40 completed anime that participate for the first time (as well as those which look fishy) are banned from entry unless I give them specific permission. It's unfair for those that genuinely want to participate, but there have been a lot of cases of low anime count users who drop or don't even start what they get. If you haven't watched a lot of anime but still want to participate, feel free to PM me and (at least for now) I'll probably let you participate. I'll randomise the submited anime during the evening of the 20th of september, so make sure to submit your anime before that. Once randomized, you will know what anime you have to watch, and you should watch it before the 21st of october. If you have watched the source of an anime and you don't want to watch the adaptation, or if you have strong feelings of animosity against it (you have to say why, and I won't accept the likes of "I don't like the genre" as an excuse. I'll definitely keep in mind if you systematically try to avoid anime for no evident reason), please SAY SO before the randomization starts. To say that, if you watched the source you don't need any specific format, but if you have other reason (strong feelings of animosity) you have to stress that you do not want the anime by either bolding or underlining the not. Once everyone gets their anime, the only reclamation I'll accept is that you already have your anime in your list or that you already told me that you didn't want it in a proper way. SINCE ROULETTE #25 WAS INTERRUPTED DUE TO MAL DYING, THE ANIME SUBMITED DURING IT CAN BE SUBMITED AGAIN IN THIS ROULETTE I'd love if you let me know in the comments that you finished your anime. That way, you can discuss it with other members (especially the one who submitted it) and it makes it easier for me to make the count. |

| The penalisations for @Prajzy @Sethlans @vinroy11 have been lifted so they can participate again. @Punkero and @thingsandstuff have till the 20th of september to finish their anime or they will recieve a penalty. beeping @Mikochondria and @Harus so they can sticky this thread. If there are any mistakes within the OP, I'd love it if you could point it out so I can fix it. |

I'd say extend 2 Roulettes (this one and the next one) to the latest offenders and absolve everything else, but I don't think they're coming back regardless (and if they're back they probably reformed?), so I'd say just let it be. And stop mentioning permabans more than the first month, just name without @, but I can do it next edition. |

Netflix just made a new continuation, which prob will cover either most or everything of part 2, so i try to get everyone into Grapple Baki so its as profitable as possible for netflix so they make more. The manga is still easily the best i really damn love it. |

They almost never make me want to watch the anime, like for example, this one making it look like a run of the mill comedy about a 10 years old girl going to high school, when she is an important character but the fact that she's a child isn't centralising at all (and I wouldn't consider this to be one of their "bad" synopsis). You already watched 5 episodes, so you probably have your own opinion about it anyway. I hope you like it. @smhmines I got one of the few anime I didn't mind watching, so I guess I was lucky. Especially since I'm watching a lot of films as of late. |

| @Pantemic I just finished the first season of Grappler Baki and I found it really fun. As a long-time fighting game fan, seeing different martial arts, techniques, and fighting styles pit against each other has always fascinated me, and Grappler Baki captures that feel perfectly. I found the characters interesting, the story was paced right throughout the whole season, and overall the show never felt boring. The animation took some getting used to, but I also noticed the spike in quality between that clunky street brawl at the beginning and Baki vs Toba, which was basically filled with sakuga, so that's something that I can always appreciate...I do still wish the whole show was animated like the '94 OVA though Anyways, thanks for putting it in the roulette and I can't wait to see what happens next :D Just checking: is [Grappler Baki: Saidai Tournament-hen -> Baki: Most Evil Death Row Convicts Special Anime -> Baki] the way to go? |

Im rly glad you enjoyed it considering its one of my favourite series. You dont have to watch the special tho, you can go straight from the tournament to the 2018 Baki. I highly recommend reading the manga aswell especially from New Grappler Baki onwards (thats the "Most Evil Death Row convicts" arc, thats been adapted by netflix atm). |
