| It's not difficult to love Frill in all she does. She gives her best whether it's a vava-voom scene or a batter your eyelashes scene. 😁 Just from looking at the first panels of the manga made me think: Ai protected and defended Hikaru from Airi. She became his defender since he blurted out his ugly frustrations and feelings from the provocative advances of Airi. Ai confronting Airi, "Isn't it the aduts' job to protect children? If not, what are we then? What are we to them?" reminds me of Dr. Gorō Amamiya's statement from the early chapters: "It's our duty as adults to protect the children." Anywho, Aka Akasaka is hitting all the right notes in feminism, consensual intercourse, and much more. He uses showbiz to hone his point. Whether it's two decades ago or a decade ago, the nightlife will be hustled and bustled by entertainment-goers (much more by women and young girls whose "right to say no" have been slowly taken away/stripped from them). Women and young girls in the entertainment industry need money. They're afraid that their jobs will be cut short if they say no to dating their bosses, going to nightout parties, and so much more. Oshi no Ko Chapter 141 comes in a critical moment for the readers as well. This chapter dropped the week after Valentine's Day. Readers: how do you feel about this chapter after spending time with your loved ones on that special day? Or, if you didn't had date night (or didn't have a date) on that day, did Chapter 141 make sense to you in a literal sense (not just story-wise)? This chapter is very difficult to contemplate even if it's only been a week after Valentine's Day. But, I'm glad the creators are making it a point how vulnerable young girls and women can be in our age when their "right to say no" is slowly being taken away from them by their superiors (in the workplace, in the entertainment industry, etc.) little by little. 😩 |

Also I just noticed that Ai's dialogue about how adults should protect children was a line completely made up by Aqua. Why? Because Aqua said the exact same thing during the reality show arc after Akane almost off herself. I saw your tricks, Aqua, you aren't fooling me. As for the last page... this panel sums up my feelings. What a terrible whiplash to be honest, presenting pdfillia, power abuse on women, and then closing it up with light hearted incest. ok.  |

| Ai is right. Even if Airi was sexually harassed in the past (it's implied from her dialogue), what Airi's doing to Hikaru is still wrong. Miyako said that "the only way a victim can reclaim their sexuality is becoming the perpetrator yourself". What a daunting idea! And these incidents don't just happen to Showbiz; these can be commonplace to the workplace as well. 😖 It's hard to live nowadays. It's hard to set physical boundaries. |

| @WeLoveIs tell me about it... This is one author I'd like to follow. But his other series, "Renai Daikō" isn't much of a hit. It goes back to the comedic aspects of Kaguya-sama. With [Oshi no Ko], I am glad its readers are increasing. |
