| I don't think it makes any sense whatsoever to go back to the Fate route at this point. I highly doubt Ufotable would consider adapting Fate. If that ever happened though (nah, it really won't), I bet probably it'd be a series of movies, which is a great thing. It must have been a big issue from the very beginning if they considered adapting Fate. F/SN flows much much better when you marathon it, so I don't think there ever was a chance of Ufotable making more than a single 2-cour adaptation. Most people think UBW is the best route, which iS one of the reasons why Ufotable decided to make it a TV series. Had they adapted Fate as a series of movies first, UBW would have felt even slower as a TV series, so that's a no-go. This also applies to HF - releasing a series of UBW movies just to make HF TV series isn't a good idea. A Fate TV series? Well, not the greatest of ideas either. Everybody knows it's the least popular route. That's probably why they decided to skip it - UBW is more interesting overall. I feel this is kind of contradictory though. Like I said before, F/SN flows better if you marathon it, so the movies will hopefully help in that regard. They'll probably take quite some time to release the following movies though, so it'll be still painful. Perhaps even more if the movies aren't pretty freaking long. But if they do it right, HF's going to be fucking awesome. So yeah, perhaps Fate as a TV series wouldn't have been a bad idea, depending on how they handle the movies... I guess we'll never know. |
| Yes, but Ufotable will make their decision to remake Fate Route with more budget and time or not in the future after UBW Remake and Heaven's Feel movie. If they're not going to do it, that's too bad but I at least wouldn't mind if Ufotable would make the "Last Episode" ending from Realta Nua a episode about 30-45 minutes or so. |

| GOD NO. the fate route is pure shit man ..... doenst fit well with F/Z which is why HF is better and UBW is fairly acceptable as well. however, what i think that UFO should have don, is take out some stuff from all 3 routes and put them in one route in a way that fits so that the world building and character development doesn't suffer for it, this will result in surely a LONG series , more then two seasons at least. however ... this is extremely hard to realize , so i understand why UFO is having a hard time with UBW now. |

At least they can handle fights better in Prisma Illya even though character design is far inferior compare to Ufotable. There are two rediming factors in regards to fate's interaction with zero Some of the fights are pretty awesome and it does a good job of resolving saber's character even though shirou and saber aren't a great couple. |
