Yay! More Rurouni Kenshin.
Sanosuke got that dog in him for real. After seeing him shadow boxing with Saito, I have a lotta respect for him. Saito could've easily annihilated my dawg but he wanted to fight on his level. Now that is my 3rd unit captain of the Shinsengumi.
I feel really bad for both Kaoru and Megumi. Kenshin leaving them really made them sad. Megumi was really determined to treat all of her patients and strive to become a doctor. Kaoru needs to step up and stop mopping around lol. Kenshin got to say good bye to her while Megumi got no farewells from him.
Both of the OP and ED songs were fire! Looks like I won't be skipping either of them.
Can't wait to see Kenshin's journey to defeat Shishio Makoto.
The best arc is here, and I'm reminded once agaiin why Saitou is a beast. Here we go Kyoto. Also, it never gets old, but Kaouru needs to get her game in check.
OST is still too generic IMHO. If the producers somehow managed to get the rights to use the old tracks, it'd be a perfect remake. I miss the old battle songs and the hiten mitsurugi ryu theme.
Welp time to continue watching this Samurai X series.
Oh a kunoichi. I don't remember her that well, so perhaps this Kyoto disturbance arc will bring back the memories to my watching time this autumn season.
Then seeing those two woman fighting while considering themselves in danger over the Kyoto disturbance just for Kenshin. Hmph, i feel you, Saitou Hajime, they can't be stopped!
Oped so far isn't really blowing up to me. But still looking forward to see more of this...
Hide and seek is the best offline games on this fatamorgana-called-world-thing. Please comment nicely. I am newbie here.
Compared to last season, I think the direction on the drama this episode was really good. [Incidentally it also reminds me of Oshi no Ko's S2 with the media adaptation plot]
I don't know if it's because I haven't seen the OG in a while and I can't remember the details, but the way it was handled here maybe felt a but more grounded and relatable compared to how I remembered it.
dont know if i will even bother with this season. the reason being is that i'm too fed up with the kyoto arc. it was re-told many times. live action, stand alone remake in 2014, etc. the reason i wanted this series is only for the jinchu arc which i myself consider the best arc in the manga. i will give it a try but i dont know if i will really enjoy it
Season 2 of Kenshin, let's do this. Already saw the first season so may as well pick it up for the second go around.
A bit of a shame that he intended to split from the group to fight the other clan, but what can we do. The life of the wandering samurai is one with few friends. I liked the girl too.. but now they're all left behind. Understandably, they're not happy. Especially Kaori. Megumi is a nice touch coming to cheer her up. W to both girls.
But hey, at least the others are ready to chase Kenshin to Shishio. Screw staying behind. If Kyoto is a killing match, they won't immediately die off.
The fighting in this show is as smooth as I expected. The fist fight is cool, and our crew will never easily quit. Rip injuring the right shoulder to the Wolf of Mibu tho.
And so the wheels of this season start to turn. Great first episode.
First fight with Sanosuke looked great, and now it's also up for some emotional Kaoru moments, now it's decided they're going to Kyoto to meet Kenshin, nice!
