Not this time! This one takes the good parts of a standard yama susume episode (except there's no mountain climbing) so it's a pretty generic CGDCT show, but just stays like that for the whole thing. The characters actually get to stand out for themselves for a change. Strongly approve, really hope the third season is just this + mountains. Super relaxing, thanks for asking. Kin no Tamago (by the Mitsuboshi Colors guy): through 4 of 19 chapters, alright so far, not CGDCT, has the guy's style of humor that has me chuckling at times at least Hitoribocchi (by the Mitsuboshi Colors guy) through 10 of 50+ chapters. What are you doing right now? Whatever it is, stop that, start this. Right now. I can say after one hour that this is one of my five favorite currently publishing manga. | Now that I think about it I think Action Heroine Cheer Fruits is probably a better comparison for Cinderella Nine than Ongaku Shoujo. Since my experience with Ongaku Shoujo was not really good. Something like Action Heroine Cheer Fruits was interesting and fun and the characters were really good wheras Ongaku Shoujo was more of a slog to get through and I'd consider it a letdown in general. |

| @ndroae is that the girls last tour artist, it has my attention still don't know if i'm going to watch the baseball show, pretty sure i'm not going to watch joshikausei, still unsure about foxgirl thing it honestly looks kinda boring OPM is still great as long as you think of it as a comedy and not a battle shonen strike witches art/animation was really cringe, studio deen kinda bad AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE EILA IN THE EPISODE CAN YOU PEOPLE DO NOTHING RIGHT bocchi's first episode was ok but i'm pretty sure it never drops below an 8 once the other two main girls show up cinderella girls theater is hit or miss as always, though anzu and rika are the worst blondes you can actually offer i love kanahana's girl in senryuu shoujo, this season is definitely top notch in the protecc+ department |

| baseball show was... alright? Definitely exceeded expectations - I like the action heroine cheer fruits comparison (though I didn't really like that show either), it doesn't feel *quite* as manufactured and corporate as bang dream, or as totally fake and aiming to garner internet reaction as love live sunshine. Not to say it feels authentic, I don't know how much of the production staff has ever talked to a girl at any point given the characters but even the "obviously designed to appeal to otaku" character in her cute little animal hood and crazy shy persona didn't come off as grating. "But it was fun, I think" "I think I had fun too" yeah. I think we did. |

| just watched the first episodes of the Strike Witches short and Carole & Tuesday. Strike Witches short is not very good animation-wise as A_P said but I found the first episode pretty fun. I will probably enjoy this series, I like the characters and I liked the SoL parts when I was watching the original Strike Witches so I should enjoy this too. Carole & Tuesday first episode was awesome, as expected. This and Hitoribocchi are my 2 early candidates for AOTS. |
| I'm being somewhat harsh, by strike witches standards they did a lot of good * minimized perrine * minimized lucchini * minimized mio * had a lot of mina * put shirley's rack on display even if poorly animated they just neglected to include my favorite cute lesbian dogfighter unit though she was in the preview for next week  also watched the not-cute kimetsu no yaiba, that was passable, really think this season is just going to blow winter out of the water. |

| Alright I'm back in Dorset after a week of yama no susume in the lake district, starting to catch up on seasonals. Yes, Shimeji Simulation is by the Shoujo Shuumatsu guy, there are only three chapters out so it couldn't be easier to catch up on. I don't know about Senko, watching it feels bad so far. Haven't picked up Cinderella Nine yet. Isekai Quartet seems pretty great - longer than expected, more characters than expected, only I wish it weren't in the high school setting typical of chibi short extras. Started Strike Witches several days ago but still haven't finished the episode yet. I was thinking silent girls were a thing this season between Joshikausei and Senryu Girl, but I forgot about Kimetsu no Yaiba, that makes three. Kimetsu no Yaiba is my first "serious" ufotable, aside from two episodes of Fate/Zero. Also a thing: cute vomit?  (from Kawaii Joushi wo Komarasetai) Why the hell are statutory rape, teacher pretty much my guaranteed AOTS I had a dream last night that Bojack Horseman was competing in some kind of Uma Musume type equestrian eventing show. I've never watched Bojack Horseman. Android autocomplete suggested "Bojack Lannister" and then "Bojack Hitler." And now "Bojack Wonka." |

| I really don't remember sanya being a total cinnamon roll watching the original strike witches but perhaps that was because I disliked the series so strongly I didn't register much (outside of shirley and eila being really easy on the eyes) but she definitely is in this version for some reason i forgot looking for strike witches art is in general a really terrible idea so senko, i'll watch it because what else am i going to do, but these types of series really aren't my cup of tea - the super relaxing thanks for asking nothing really happens kind of series. I'm also generally kinda weirded out in general by animal ears i dunno, I would not have been as eager to pet those ears as dude whose name I haven't even bothered to learn yet. I also react violently if anybody approaches my ears, that would not have gone well. the pout was v cute though |

| Because of some connection with Kizuna Ai? That was the only stated reason for hype I recall from comments on news articles leading up to it. Miru Tights might be the first anime series started in the Reiwa era.
