DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I will be honest, I have dont really have an idea what is going on for the most part, but the animation (tho some of the CGI scenes are weird looking), artstyle and the OST are pretty good. And dang her new friend is gone just like that O.O Will keep watching this for now to see what other random shits will be going on. |

| Wonder Egg Priority's first episode is here, brought to us by CloverWorks. Character design and animation is really nice. Especially Ai's, her character design is unique with her blue hair and different coloured eyes. Holy shit this anime is creepy though. Dolls with the creepiest smiles trying to murder the girl from inside the egg right off the bat. It seems that you have to draw a "Wonder Egg" and try your best to protect the person who hatches from it for as long as possible, or neutralize the threat. Ai has to do this so she can get her best friend Koito back huh. |

| Early broadcast on selected streams: https://twitter.com/WEP_anime/status/1349008234724552704 A blue haired girl named Ai Ohto (word play on heterochromia iridum, meaning "odd eye"), and a mysterious Egg: Break the Wonder Egg, and see what happens. Then suddenly...all the CG massacre starts coming. This is a gory series that does not hold back, that's for sure. Even so, the dementia-esque psychedelic suspense of a feeling gives me the creeps. The past dream of a friend Saijo Kurumi a.k.a Koito Nagase and the bullied Ai, and to save the friend in reality. I'm VERY HOOKED now. This "Wonder Egg Priority", the Egg is truly the priority to change the future, with people "birthed" from it as targets of a "dream", indistinguishable from reality. The race against the Seeno Evils (or more like Monkey See No Evil), I'm very curious to what this world has in store. What a first impression this is, coming from an entirely new scriptwriter: Nojima Shinji. If anything, of the creepy shows this season, this has the biggest potential to hit it off, and also being an original as well: directed by Shin Wakabayashi, the director of Ano Hi no Kanojo-tachi (which are 22/7 shorts), whom now debuts as a full-length director. Not to mention that the character designs were all inspired from 22/7 the anime. | This anime makes me interested just by looking at the KV I really like the character designs of this anime and this season CloverWorks is producing "Horimiya" and "Wonder Egg Priority" thanks CloverWorks Still full of mystery and there are many things I don't understand yet, but I'm looking forward to the future because I feel that the story makes sense. |

| This looks just so damn beautiful. That's it, that's all I have to say for now, but I wanted to say it anyway. Besides that, I got so many Ikuhara vibes this first episode that I'd say it's almost deliberate. Oh, and that this series apparently knew how to make the first episode creepier than other supposed thrillers this season that are in far less inspired hands. |

| Damn this was a nice episode, I really liked it! The artstyle and the animation were great as well! I'm excited to see where this show is going, as I have pretty much no idea about that. It could be a hit if the rest of the episodes are as good as this one was. |

| So many talented animation teams assembled for this winter season, the production on this one is kinda unreal, good for CloverWorks I guess. On the story side, no idea what is happening at all, but it seems promising so far. |

| I'm so confused. This show makes me... wonder about a lot. First of all I'm in love with the soundtrack. It's so fun despite what's happening. It seems that she is playing a gacha game and she needs to change the future where Koito isn't a statue but she needs some exp or something in order to do that so she plays a game where she saves people. Also it could all just be a dream since we saw that slide scene after the hospital. I'm confused if they used cg on the characters. Yes, i know they used for those little things and they used it really good. Made me feel the suspense. But i cant tell if the main characters are 100% 2D i'm so confused lol. Art is really nice though. Ai is really cute with her yellow hoodie. Overall I'm hooked. ALSO CAN WE MENTION THAT THE TOILET ROLL SPOKE THERE |

| Wow we already have a contender for AOTY and unless this messes up bigtime later this anime will be big. Does kids these days dun have brains. How can they bully a girl for having heterochromia, it looks beautiful. I guess they bully her due to inferiority complex cause of not having heterochromia. So Ai can get back her best friend Koito if she saves a lot of people in her dream like how she saved Kurumi. I wonder if this is really true or she's getting scammed, cause trying to bring back dead people never ended well. Also what I find most interesting about the dream is that even thou Ai's invincible there if she takes damage there she'll take damage in real life which changes things by a lot. Now she gotta be careful af or else she'll get killed. Really intriguing start with beautiful visuals. Ost and animation were really great. Also I loved the gore, it was done beautifully. Overall a really solid start, looking forward to more. |

| I don't know how to describe this, but it seems interesting! The visuals, animation, and character design were beautiful. Just what you would expect from CloverWorks. The bloody scenes, flying axes, and the dolls really caught me off guard. Definitely did not expect that lol. They took the "Slice" from Slice of Life quite literally eh... xD Very interesting start and I definitely enjoyed it! |

| The art and character design are very nice. The story looks darker, more horror, and more mysterious than I thought. The world setting and supernatural power look very interesting. That strange dimension and those Evil reminds me somehow of Mahou Shoujo Madoka and Monogatari series. |

| This is such a weird episode. Anyways.... I'm looking forward for the next upcoming episodes. | The visuals were beautiful. I barely understood anything that happened in this episode, it looks like main character's only friend killed herself. Now she needs friends but she doesn't want the same thing to happen to her new friends so she's scared of getting friends... I guess? I need more episodes to understand Wonder Egg Priority, this episode was visually great though. |

| I was pleasantly surprised by this anime. In the PVs it didn't seem like it would be this dark, kinda gives me Madoka and Lain vibes (not to that extent... yet) but I want to see where this goes. |

| now youre hype about CloverWorks they are the new Ufotable studio lol especially with their super producer that attracts a lot of talented animators and staff so the enemies are called See No Evils i guess Ai is always pretending to not see evil done to her best friend thats why she did suicide as they say not doing anything against evil is part of the problem  |

| Okay let me explain the thoughts I have after watching this first episode. These Wonder Eggs contain dead people, the holder of the eggs gets a choice between cracking the egg or just leave it be. When the egg breaks the human that's contained resurrects and the worlds of dreams and reality collide. The evidence can be found when at the end of the episode Ai's wound appears in the real world. The holder or Ai (the main character) in this case loses someone dear to them, that is her dearest friend Nagase. Who we can see dead on the walkway. I didn't really get a clear picture on what her objective will be in the upcoming episodes. Will she fight so she can get her friend back or is she lost forever? But this got me thinking what if the actual victims from the eggs require salavation from a different source other than Ai? For example their own real-life friends taking the same action to save her(the girl from the egg and not Nagase)?. I also want clarify this episode was not in chronological order and therefore confusing. |
