Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in the public sector focusing on national, regional, local agencies, and/or higher education customers.
- 10 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales focusing on national, regional, local agencies, or higher education customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of business experience with collaboration SaaS based solutions.
- Experience with Google Workspace solutions.
- Experience with business cloud or collaboration software.
- Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

You will also work with national, regional, and local agencies, big and small, addressing their technical and business use case questions. As a New Business Sales Specialist, you will work with higher education institutions. The salesforce finds them, you keep them happy by problem-solving and continuously informing them of existing and new values within Google Workspace, Chrome, Search, and more. You will work with customers, engage with partners and customers, provide them seamless support, help them understand the licensing and deployment models, address baseline technical questions, and retain them with Google.

Responsibilities
- Work with wider Google teams on a territory strategy to generate and develop business results in the territory and open up opportunities with National, Regional, and Local agencies and Higher Education customers for Google Workspace.
- Meet with customers and partners. Provide quotes to customers and partners to ensure closing and processing Google Workspace agreements for new and expansion opportunities.
- Develop and maintain technical and conversational proficiency in Google Workspace services.
- Develop fluency around the Google Workspace business process, including analyzing potential in a territory, developing structured territory plans, quarterly reviews of key accounts to win throughout the year and involvement of cross-functional teams.
